报告人简介:

  Dr.Maria Rita Palattella,卢森堡科学与技术研究所高级研究员,主要研究方向是工业物联网技术,包括低功耗算法、可靠性技术、IETF RPL协议、IPv6和IEEE802.15.4e协议设计与开发。Dr. Maria担任Transactions on Emerging Telecommunications Technologies (ETT)、EAI Transactions on IoT等多个SCI国际期刊的编辑,是IEEE 5G移动无线互联网技术小组委员会秘书、IETF 6TiSCH WG重要成员和ETSI 6TiSCH Plugtests专家。

报告内容简介:

  The new emerging 6TiSCH protocol stack (including the IEEE802.15.4e TSCH MAC standard and the IETF RPL routing protocol) provides key functionalities useful for a really viable Internet of Things. However, several open issues still remain and require research efforts to be solved. Among others, the design of effective scheduling schemes in such systems is one of the major problems; in fact, there are no specifications about how schedules should be realized. In this context, the seminar will introduce a Traffic Aware Scheduling Algorithm (TASA), both in its centralized and distributed (DeTAS) version, with the final aim to pave a way to fill the aforementioned gap. Finally, the talk will conclude with an overview of the 6top Scheduling Function Zero (SF0), currently under definition and standardization within the IETF 6TiSCH WG.
